When I was going through my divorce, I had a few initial consultations with different lawyers and felt worse after leaving their office. A friend recommended The Nelson Law Office. I met with Kimberly Nelson for an initial consultation and I knew within the first 15 minutes that I would retain her as my attorney. Kimberly Nelson was extremely knowledgeable and professional. She is so very easy to talk to and clearly presents and explains all legal options to her clients that would be in their best interest. She definitely guided me and protected my best interests. I was very happy with my final agreement. Kimberly never once made me feel that any question I had was not important and thoroughly explains all laws and legal terms. This practice achieves its goal of assisting people through the legal process, in what can often be a traumatic experience, by being professional, courteous, and making you feel as if they understand what you are going through. Phone calls and e-mails are returned in a timely manner. The above has not been my experience with other practices who handle such matters as divorce and family law. I have worked most closely with Kimberly Nelson. I have found her to be a dedicated advocate for her client. She has helped me with complex litigation. Along with her excellence/knowledge in her field, she always demonstrates compassion which helps ease the process. This trait is often lacking in other lawyers I've used. [We] had a couple of consultations with other divorce lawyers. In both cases all sounded well until it was time to give them a check. It was then discovered that the initial fee had additions which were never discussed to begin with. Needless to say, we decided this was not the way to do business.

From our initial consultation with Kimberly I. Nelson, Esq. nothing changed. She advised us of all the different possibilities and exactly what it would cost. Not once did we experience any additional costs. She was a complete professional with her work and very diligent in all that she did.
